Terry cloth

Terry cloth is particularly well known as a towel material and generally in the bathing area . The distinctive loops in terry cloth create an increased surface area , meaning there is more volume to absorb water than a smooth fabric. For example, it can be sewn into bath towels, washcloths, bathrobes or beach towels.
