Chiffon is a transparent , delicate, veil-like fabric.

The fabric is very soft and delicate to the touch, but has some resistance. This is due to the yarns being twisted in alternating directions and woven into a plain weave. Because the fabric is so soft and delicate, it has an airy , flowing drape and feels very comfortable on the skin.
